It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year (Seedy Saturday)

Powell River's 10th annual Seedy Saturday is happening on Saturday March 14, 2015!
9:30am - 2:30pm

at the Rec Complex. Read all about it here.

There will be the usual big seed exchange, seed vendors from our local area and from Vancouver Island, a Silent Auction, information tables from many local gardening, agriculture, and eco groups, food at the Seedy Cafe, kids' activity area by Family Place, eight workshops all for the price of $2 for the day! Children 12 and under get in for free, and Powell River Dollars are accepted.

One of the mostly frequently asked questions about Seedy Saturday is, " Can I come to the event if I don't have seeds to swap?" The answer is 'YES!' Everyone can purchase up to 10 packages of seeds for .50 cents a package. . The amount of seeds in each packet is enough to get started on growing that plant. Seed vendors are also on hand to sell their quality seeds in regular size seed packages.

Here is the schedule of workshops for 2015's Seedy Saturday. All workshops are FREE with your $2 admission; no need to pre-register, although you might want to get to the workshops early, since they do sometimes fill up!
