Garden Club Plant Sale 2021

 Have you heard the rumour?  The Powell River Garden Club is having an ONLINE Plant Sale!  




Before Covid, our annual plant sale was a much anticipated event.  This one day sale was our major fundraiser.  We missed it last year but we're not going to miss it this year.  It's just going to be different.


Online?  How will that work?

  • Information will be sent to all members on how to donate. 
  • A list of available plants with description, size, and price will be emailed to garden club members on May 6 and shared online on May 8.  
  • You have until May 11 to submit your order by email.  All plants are on a first come first served basis.  
  • We will process your order and send you an invoice.  
  • You pay.  
  • We schedule an appointment for you to drive by and pick up your plant order at the Curling Club on Sunday, May 16.

Be involved:

  Donate plants to help us raise money! 🎕 Volunteer to help! 🎕 

Buy plants! 🎕 Pass this information on! 🎕


If you are interested in learning more about how the plant sale will work and how you can be a part of it, a Zoom information session will be held on Monday, April 12 at 7:00 pm.

    I'm not sure if the coloured text are supposed to be links? If I click on them - nothing happens. So not sure how to buy/donate/volunteer or pass the info on. thanks

      Hi Dusty, No, they are not links although it's be a cool idea. If you got the blog in your email there should be share buttons for email, FB etc before you hit the read more link. For volunteering (which would be wonderful) please email the club: gardenclubpowellriver@gmail.com with plant sale volunteering in the subject line. I'll change the wording in the post to make things clearer.

      Groovy thanks, I am volunteering already. I just don't know where to donate my plants, I'll email someone.

When you visit let us know by leaving a comment. If you have a gmail account you can comment using the google designation in the "comment as" box. If not you will need to scroll down in the "comment as" box until you reach anonymous at the bottom. Click on it as your choice. Write your comment, add your first name or initials and hit the PUBLISH button.
