Some of our members are working their green fingered magic on three outdoor areas at the Evergreen Extended Care Unit.
It began last Fall with a clean up in the large patio area. Bulbs were planted at the same time. Over the winter monthly meetings were held with residents who came up with ideas for landscaping and planting. As things need to be done a call goes out and those available turn up ready for work.

We actually also planted 2 flats of marigolds yesterday, so the courtyard garden is looking fabulous. we just need a volunteer limber enough to jump into the centre and deadhead. any volunteers??
