During last night's meeting one of our members had a laptop removed from her car while it was in the Seniors' Centre parking lot. The police informed her crammed parking lots are a favourite prowling area for criminal elements looking for an easy score. Please do not leave anything valuable in your car and double check everything is locked.
There is a slight chance the pouch it was in could have been discarded in the area. If you noticed anything please let the police know.
