  1. I have attended a few workshops through the urban homesteading school over the last year or two and have learned the basics of weaving, soap-making, fermenting foods, food foraging, and how to make biochar. I've found them very hands-on, practical and fun. The instructors and other students shared their experiences and has us doing it in the workshop. I've also met some lovely people. So, I highly recommend these workshops. I've already signed up for this weekend. The price is VERY good!!!

    1. Kevin is also on the lookout for instructors-paid gig, so if you have a skill, and would like to share it, don't be shy. As Sharon says there is so much to like about the "school".
