Jan 26 meeting

Gardening Made Easy is the title of the presentation for our next meeting on Jan 26th. The speaker is Connie Kuramoto, a technician and an instructor at Malaspina University College’s Horticulture Department for over 20 years and an instructor for Gaia College's Organic Master Gardener Program. The content is billed to be of interest to anyone needing a low(er) maintenance garden. Knowing the busy lives of our members there is bound to be some useful tips for all.

A book I've heard recommended many times for downsizing is
Gardening for a Lifetime: How to Garden Wiser as You Grow Older by Sydney Eddison. It promises to  help you transform gardening from a daunting list of chores into a rewarding, joy-filled activity.

Our first meeting after the Christmas break is traditionally the time when members off load left over baking so bring your sweet tooth.
