So Many Things Happening at the Club

The next month and a half is packed with activities for our members. It makes me realise yet again what a thriving club we have.

A reminder not all events are listed in the posts. Check in from time to time and look at the Events box to your right.  Our Facebook page will keep you up to date too.

Tues June 23rd is our last meeting until September. We have a special guest from UBC Botanical Gardens, Iain Taylor. He is currently the volunteer Project Director. He has worked to rescue an old farm in the backwoods of BC and is a leader in the field of science and ethics with an emphasis on botany. I think we might need more than one talk, sounds like an interesting person.

We have another set of gardens to visit on June 13th from 10-12 noon. One in town and two south. Check your email for details or contact the club.

Here are some images from our first visits of the year. Kathie and Ken's garden south of town.

don't forget the garden club social on June 27

Another event we are involved in-----June 17th the Garden Club is going to create 4 stunning floral displays for the Willingdon Beach bandstand for the Prizma concert that evening. Please contact the club if you have tall flowers or interesting shrubbery we can use for these baskets.
